Hydroglow jet lighting - a World first!

The addition of the Hydroglow TM back jet jet option to the O2 spa range is a world first. Traditionally, spas have been lit using one or more LED lights, usually in the foot well of the spa. Back lighting the jets themselves, gives a much better effect with up to 75 jets glowing strongly. As an added feature, multi colour LED bulbs are used, meaning your can dial up a colour to suit your mood, or select party mode and the lights cycle through 27 unique colours.
During daylight, the stainless steel jet faces give a deluxe feel to your O2 spas, meaning that day and night, yours will be the most impressive spa in the neighbourhood!! (10/9/09)

O2 spas launch their new Hydrozone swim spa

The problem with swim spas has always been; 'Do I set the water temperature so it's comfortable for swimming (around 32 degrees) or relaxing (around 38 degrees)?'
The release of the Hydrozone sees swim spas enter a new era. With separate 'zones' for swimming and 'spaing', water temperature can be tailored to suit your comfort level - whether you are exercising or relaxing.
The Hydrozone also features the new Purezone filtration system (see below), stainless steel jets, sperate control systems for the swim and spa zones, 2 x programmable circulation pumps and 5 x 5.2bhp boost pumps. Options include a water proof TV / DVD, side wall, back lit water feature, UV automatic sanistisation and O2's new Hydroglow back lit jets! (15/8/09)

O2 spas introduce 'Purezone' filtration

Pure-zone uses a disposable filter cartridge bringing an
end to weekly filter maintenance. Filtering to 1  microns, the Pure-zone system
provides up to 50 times the filtration of traditional filters. This eliminates the
need for chemical clarifiers or defoamers. In addition, it's silver ion impregnated
core offers unsurpassed antiseptic, bactericidal, deodorizing, anti mold and anti
algae properties. Coupled with O2's pioneering UV sanitising system, Purezone
will assist in slashing chemical use and maintenance time.

High Density Depth filtration (Micron) is a process in which water is forced through microscopic caves and caverns in a tightly wound Polypropylene filter, rather than being sucked through a paper, pleated-type filter. This Polypropylene web forces the water particles to take a different path every time (see photo). High Density Depth filters use this same process and remove particles throughout the entire thickness of the filter.

The contaminants are taken out of the water two ways. By getting stuck in the Polypropylene web and by absorption into the material. Polypropylene removes these contaminants and traps them in its fibers, not letting them back into the water. The particles that would have formed a cake on the surface of a paper, pleated-type filter will now be spread throughout the entire High Density filter element instead. The path through the filter media is long and random. High Density Depth filters offer the best chance of contaminants to be captured in both the long term and the short term, and are more likely to capture semi-solids and particles of varying sizes. High Density Polypropylene Filters are not meant to be cleaned or reused.  Simply toss out after a few months and replace with a new one to ensure brilliant High Definition clarity for your spa water, with much less chemical use!
