- Vortex Spas™ updated its warranty terms, effective from December 31, 2023. If you purchased your spa before this date, please refer to the Pre-2024 Warranty Card. For Vortex Spas™ purchased after said date, the new Vortex™ Spas™ 2024 Warranty Card applies.

Who is Vortex Spas™?
Vortex™ produces a diverse range of spas, swim spas, pergolas, and saunas, distributed across more than 20 countries globally.
Vortex Spas™ is a part of the Jacuzzi Group®, a U.S.-based company that also owns Jacuzzi® Spas, the pioneers behind the modern concept of spa pools.
They offer high quality like US brands but at lower prices. Vortex Spas™ is known for its innovative technologies, like using UV sterilisation in its products. They also designed and made the award-winning Vortex® IKON™ spa.
How does Vortex Spas™ warranty work?
The warranty starts when the spa is delivered. It only applies to the original buyer and if the spa was bought from an authorized Vortex™Leisure Pty Ltd reseller.
If there is a defect, the buyer has to notify Vortex™ Leisure Pty Ltd or its representative within 14 days of the defect happening and provide proof of purchase. If the spa needs to be sent back to Vortex™ Leisure Pty Ltd for fixing, the buyer has to pay for the shipping.
Vortex™ Leisure Pty Ltd will decide whether to repair or replace the defective product. To get warranty service, contact the reseller where you bought the spa. If they can't help, you have to notify Vortex™ Leisure Pty Ltd in writing within 14 days of the defect happening.
Vortex™ Leisure Pty Ltd will cover the travel expenses of the service agent for the first 50km from their location, but the spa owner is responsible for any additional travel charges.

Vortex Spas™ offers an exceptional warranty to ensure your spa's longevity and performance. Here's a breakdown of what their warranty covers:
Lifetime Warranty on the Permaframe™
Vortex's Permaframe™ is guaranteed for life against a loss of structural integrity leading to the spa being inoperable.
10-Year Non-Pro-Rata Structural Warranty
All Vortex Spas™ are offered with a 10-year 'non pro-rata' shell structure warranty. This means that if the spa's shell cracks resulting in water loss, for 10 years, the spa's shell shall be replaced.
5-Year Non-Pro-Rata Acrylic Surface Warranty
All Vortex Spas™ are offered with a 5-year 'non pro-rata' acrylic surface warranty. This means that if the acrylic surface blisters resulting in water loss for 5 years, the spa's shell shall be replaced.
5-years Equipment, Controls & Electrical Equipment Components Warranty
Vortex Spas™ offers a 5-year warranty from delivery date on pumps, heaters, and control systems for defects in materials or workmanship. After the first year, the warranty only covers parts, not labor or shipping. Damage from improper water balance to heaters or pumps is not covered. Vortex may request a faulty part's return to a dealer for evaluation before repair or replacement. If the part is defective, return costs will be refunded.
5-Year Jet Warranty
Removable spa jets are warranted against manufacturing defects for 5 years from delivery date. This doesn't cover damage from grit, sand, or improper water chemistry. Replacement parts are provided after inspection of the returned faulty part. Leaks from jets are covered by the plumbing warranty. Laminar jets have a separate 1-year parts-only warranty.
5-Year Plumbing Warranty
Plumbing pipes and joints are warranted against defects causing leaks for 5 years from delivery date. After the first year, only replacement parts are provided, excluding labor and shipping costs.
1-Year Air Blower Warranty
The air blower is warranted for 1 year against defects. This warranty is void if damage is due to overfilling the spa.
1-Year Thermoclad™ Cabinet Warranty
The Thermoclad™ spa cabinet has a 1-year warranty, guaranteeing its structural integrity and ensuring it is free from defects in materials and workmanship upon initial delivery. Fading and weathering over time are natural and not considered defects.
1-Year Wifi, Audio System, Ozone, Uv, Led Light(S) Warranty
Vortex Spas™ provides a 1-year warranty on factory-installed Wifi, audio system, UV sanitiser, Ozone sanitiser, and LED light assemblies against defects in materials and workmanship. UV globe is covered for replacement within the warranty period, which can be installed by the customer.
1-Year External Heat Pump Warranty
The External Heat Pump has a 1-year warranty. Installation must be done by a qualified contractor; failure to do so will void the warranty. You may be required to return the heat pump for assessment before replacement or repair.
1-Year Spa Hardcover Warranty
The Spa Cover is covered by a 1-year warranty from the delivery date. This warranty applies only to the structural integrity of the cover and the vinyl. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use.
2-Year Ikon™ Deck Warranty
The IKON™ deck has a 2-year warranty. The deck is warranted to be defect-free upon initial delivery. Fading and weathering over time are natural and not considered defects.
ClearLift™ Standard Warranty
The ClearLift™ is an optional upgrade offered on specific Vortex™ Swim Spa models. For customers who have purchased the ClearLift™ upgrade on select Vortex™ Swim Spa models, the warranty terms of the ClearLift™ components supersede the standard 1-year spa hardcover warranty. These components are warranted from the date of delivery as per the following terms.
Clearlift™ Electrical Components
The SpaNet™ covers controller, transformer, and actuators for 1 year for both parts and labour and parts only for the second year.
ClearLift™ Cover Foam
The ClearLift™ Cover foam is covered for 1 year for both parts and labour and parts only for the second year.
Clearlift™ Cover Frame And Mechanical Components
5-year ClearLift™ cover frame and mechanical components warranty: Two years parts and labour and parts only for the following three years. It does not cover damage caused by improper use of the cover such as stitching, straps, or locks.
What are the exclusions of Vortex Spas™ Warranty?
To ensure that you receive the complete coverage outlined in your Vortex Spas™ Warranty, it is important to keep the following reminders and limitations in mind.
- Damage caused by not properly maintaining the water in the spa.
- Damage from running the spa at temperatures above 45°C.
- Damage caused by filters becoming clogged.
- Damage to the spa resulting from improper use of the spa cover or too much exposure to sunlight.
- Damage caused by natural disasters or uncontrollable events.
- Damage caused by not placing the spa on a sufficiently hard and level surface.
- Damage caused by incorrect electrical installation, power fluctuations, or operating the spa outside of the recommended voltage range.
- The warranty does not cover filter cartridges, headrests, pump seals, or drain hoses.
- Warranty coverage is reduced to a maximum of 6 months for commercial use.
- Damage resulting from moving the spa from its original installed location.
- Damage caused by termites, borers, or other pests.
- Damage caused by flooding.
- Damage caused by third-party delivery services.
- Damage or corrosion.
- Damage caused by operating the ClearLift™ Cover Lifter during high winds.
