The Dream

Sharlene had a clear vision from day one. She was creating a luxury short-term rental, the kind of place where guests arrive frazzled and leave completely restored. She wanted a large spa that would sit front and centre, with nothing but a shimmering lake and open sky as the backdrop.

The challenge? The spa couldn't block the master bedroom's view of the water. It needed to feel like part of the landscape — not imposed on top of it. Oh, and accessing the install site meant navigating the edge of a lake, a brand-new home, and some very creative logistics.

Solving the Puzzle

To keep the spa from rising above the bedroom windowsill, the installation team had to think well ahead of the build. The concrete pad was laid first, set at exactly the right depth so the finished spa would sit flush with the deck, perfectly level with the sightline from inside the house. The view would remain completely uninterrupted.

Finishing Touches That Make All the Difference

A beautiful spa is just the beginning. Sharlene and her team wrapped the whole space in the kind of thoughtful detail that elevates a rental from "nice" to "unforgettable." Timber decking runs the full length of the outdoor area.
