Jacuzzi® J404L™ Features

Infrared and Red Light Therapy, built in

The J404L™ carries two IR + Red Light Therapy lights, positioned in Seat A targeting the lower back directly.

Infrared penetrates below the skin into deep tissue, easing muscle tension, reducing inflammation, and accelerating recovery. Activate it in 20-minute sessions from the control panel. Included as standard.

Four seats. Thirty-two jets. No spare parts.

Seat A is the J404L™'s powerhouse: two NX2 jets, nine FX jets, two IR Therapy Lights, two FX Rotational jets, and four FX jets targeting the full back and lower body. Seat B delivers a single large FX jet for targeted relief. Seat C adds two NX2 jets, two RX jets, two FX Rotational jets, and six FX jets across shoulders and back. Seat D finishes with two NX2 neck jets.

The footprint is smaller. The therapy isn't.

Water that works as hard as the jets

The J404L™ is built with True Water® nanobubble technology: trillions of oxygen-filled nanobubbles continuously purifying the water without bromine, without salt, and with next to no chlorine. Water that looks, feels, and smells cleaner. Maintenance down to around 15 minutes a month.

The filtration system pairs a ProClarity® 40 ft² filter cartridge with a depth load filter on the 8-hour circulation pump, a ProCatch® bag with ProClear® 60 ft² filter, and the True Water® system working behind the scenes.

One waterfall. Adjustable, lit, and worth sitting under.

The J404L™ has a single waterfall with independent flow control — open or off, powered by the circulation pump. Let it run as background sound, or adjust the flow for a neck-and-shoulder sensation while the jets do the rest.

PowerPro® Jets

The J404L™ runs 39 PowerPro® jets across six types: FX, FX Rotational, FX Large Rotational, NX2, MX, and RX. Each type placed deliberately in the seat position that matches its action.

Patented 360° air induction and Aqualibrium® system deliver the right air-to-water mix — powerful without being harsh.

SmartTub® - Your Spa in Your Pocket

The SmartTub® system connects over Wi-Fi or cellular, so you can control and monitor any model from the J-4™ Collection from anywhere. Set the temperature before you get home. Track your hydromassage and IR therapy sessions against your wellness goals. Schedule heating times to cut energy use by around 20%.

Up to five user profiles. Curated Jacuzzi® soundscapes — Ocean Waves, Forest Sounds, Rain Falling, White Noise. Modes that activate on a single tap: Infrared Therapy, Sleep Well, and more.

J4 Control Panel

Touchscreen Control

A waterproof full-colour glass touchscreen, recessed into the spa shell. Programmes heat modes, filtration cycles, IR therapy, lighting, and locks — all from the water. Three heating modes: Auto (constant), Day (7am–5pm), Economy (5pm–7am).

J4 Collection ProFinish Cabinet

Low maintenance cabinetry, high impact.

Three cabinet finishes: Modern Hardwood, Brushed Gray, Smoked Ebony. Synthetic construction that wipes clean and won't warp or fade. Corner exterior lights come standard — white only, two brightness settings, auto-off after 8 hours or set to activate from 7pm to midnight.

J-500 spas are warranted against water loss due to defects in the spa shell for ten years from the original date of purchase.

7 Year Warranty

J-500 spas are warranted against blistering, cracking, or delaminating of the interior surface of the spa shell for seven years from the original date of purchase.

5 Years Equipment and Controls

5 Years Cabinet

J-500 spas’ CurvaLux™ cabinets are warranted against defects in workmanship or materials for five years from the original date of purchase. Normal wear and weathering of the finish will occur naturally over time, and are not defects. The CurvaLux™ cabinet mounting hardware is warranted against defects in workmanship or materials for two years from the original date of purchase.
