How to use the Air Controls on Jacuzzi^® J-300™ Collection Spas

Air controls are an essential component of hot tubs. Spa air controls regulate the pressure, temperature, and flow of the hot tub jets. These controls are typically located on the top sides of the spa.

The air helps to enhance the massage effect of the jets, making for a more relaxing spa experience. When the air control is open, more air is released into the jets, creating more massage bubbles and a stronger water stream.

Certain jet systems have their own “toggle” on/off air control. Each control introduces air into the water lines that supply specific jet groups. Simply press any air control button, Jacuzzi^® logo side up, to open, or press the opposite side of the button to close.

Pro Tip: To minimise heat loss, all air controls should be closed when the spa is not in use. Certain jets may not draw air when jets pump 1 is running at low speed; this is considered normal.

How to adjust the individual jet flow on Jacuzzi^® J-300™ Collection Spas

The water flow through individual jets in your spa can be adjusted or turned off by rotating the outside jet ring. Some jets offer an adjustable centre nozzle that allows you to change the water discharge angle.

Simply tilt the centre nozzle in these jets to the desired angle to customise your personal massage. Other jets offer a spiral action that produces a surging stream of air and water that provides a vigorous massage.

Pro tip: Always keep at least 6 adjustable jets open at all times to ensure proper filtration characteristics within the spa.

What are Jacuzzi^® J-300™ Collection Spa Lighted Cup Holders and how do they work?

Cup holders in Jacuzzi^® Spas are designed to keep glasses, cups and bottles secure while you enjoy a soak. Mounted on the top side of your spa, the cup holders feature a drainage hole on the bottom so that any excess liquid can easily drain away.

The Jacuzzi^® J-300™ Collection Spa features lighted cup holders that display soft light and illuminates the area around holders, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for spa users.

Additionally, the lighted cup holders make it easier to locate drinks in the dark and illuminate the spa area for added safety.

Please note: Lighted cup holders are not offered on J-315™-J-325™ models.

How to use the Massage Selector Valve on Jacuzzi^® J-300™ Collection Spas

Your Jacuzzi^® spa has a massage selector that allows you to choose the massage experience you want.

The Jacuzzi^® J-300™ Collection Spa massage selector consists of a valve that can be directed in three different positions.

Simply turn the valve to positions A (combo), B or C to divert water pressure to various jet groups.

Important reminders:

• The valve is intended to operate in positions A, B, or C for optimum performance.
• It is considered normal for sound levels within the valve to increase between these positions due to the large amounts of water flowing through it.
• For optimum filtration benefits, always leave this valve in position A when the spa is covered and select positions B or C for maximum jet performance during spa use.

How to use the Waterfall feature on Jacuzzi^® J-300™ Collection Spas

The Jacuzzi^® Spa waterfall feature is a cascading wall of water that flows into the spa, creating a beautiful visual effect and providing a soothing sound.

The waterfall feature allows you to independently control it for a customised soothing effect. To operate this feature, please follow the instructions below.

• Push the thumb wheel on top of the waterfall to the left (while in the spa) to start or increase flow.
• Push the thumb wheel on top of the waterfall to the right (while in the spa) to slow or turn the flow off.

Important reminders:

• For J-335™-J-385™ models, the waterfall feature is ON when the circulation pump is on. The JETS 1 and CLEARRAY^® buttons will also activate the waterfall feature.
• For J-315™-J-325™ models, the waterfall feature is ON when the Jets Pump 1 is ON.

BLUEWAVE^® Spa Stereo System Upgrade

The BLUEWAVE^® Spa Stereo System is an optional upgrade that offers an enhanced spa experience. These models include a high-quality Bluetooth^® stereo receiver with four high-quality marine speakers for unsurpassed sound quality and long life. An auxiliary device can be connected, via a 3.5 mm plug cable, located behind the front cabinet panel, if a Bluetooth^® device is not available.

SmartTub™ System

Jacuzzi^® J-300™ Collection Spa comes with an optional SmartTub™ system that allows you to fully and remotely control your spa from your device. The system comprises hardware that uses cellular transmission for easier connection and a more dependable signal than WiFi and a downloadable app. This makes controlling your spa easy and convenient. If you are in the living room of your house or in another country, as long as you have a cellular connection, you can access the control settings on your Jacuzzi^®.

When the SmartTub™ hardware and app are connected, you will be able to:

• Adjust the temperature of the spa water
• Control spa jets and lighting
• Control and monitor energy output (when and how often you run the heating and filtration cycle)

How to use CLEARRAY^® On Demand

The Jacuzzi^® J-300™ Collection Spa is equipped with CLEARRAY^® Water Purification System that uses natural ultraviolet technology to sanitize your water, disinfecting bacteria, viruses, and algae. This water purification system has a UV bulb that must be replaced once a year.

To activate the CLEARRAY^® On Demand feature, continuously tap the CLEARRAY^® button on the control panel. You can activate the system for 1 hour, 2 hours, or 3 hours or deactivate the feature.

Important reminders:

• When the CLEARRAY^® On Demand is activated, the circulation pump and the CLEARRAY^® unit are ON.
• When the CLEARRAY^® system is on, due to a programmed or scheduled setting, the feature cannot be turned OFF.

Jacuzzi^® J-300™ Collection Exterior Lights

Jacuzzi^® Hydrosoothe™ pillow

Your spa may feature a Hydrosoothe™ pillow, crafted with injection moulding technology. These pillows are designed to fit Jacuzzi^® HydroSoothe™ jets found in J-300™ Collection™ spas produced after 2020 only.

The Hydrosoothe™ pillow is one complete assembly. The foam pillow is attached between an inner and outer ring. Unlike the standard Jacuzzi^® Spa headrests, Hydrosoothe™ pillows cannot be removed from the front.
